Supporting Sustainable Business Adaptation during COVID-19

In partnership with LOCO BC, the National Zero Waste Council, and The Soap Dispensary, we are strengthening and building resiliency to support a green recovery from COVID-19 through engaging independently-run local businesses. Working with local BC businesses who have adapted to the new realities of COVID-19 while maintaining practices that promote a sustainable and socially just local economy, we are developing a series of case studies and resources. Building on existing local business networks, we will also facilitate a peer-to-peer online exchange to encourage collaboration, networking, and sharing of ideas between local businesses and supporting organizations/associations.

This project is funded by the Simon Fraser University Community Engagement Initiative and Community Engaged Research Initiative.
